Donate In Memory of Mick Rice
Michael “Mick” Rice was a son, a brother, and a friend to many. Although his life was short, he touched more people than he knew with his quiet and comforting nature. Mick was an accomplished tattoo artist and his light will keep shining through the many beautiful remembrances he created for others. Throughout his life, he experienced his greatest joy in the wonder of nature – during the day he would often go fishing, take his scooter through the forest preserves, and watch episodes of the “Our Planet” documentary series. Most evenings, he would look up at the night sky and appreciate the vastness of our solar system and his place in all of this.
Despite his love of life, Mick suffered from addiction, and he struggled with it every day. Although at times he enjoyed long periods of sobriety, he could never fully conquer what pulled him back. Even so, he tried to encourage others by being there for them, using his quick wit to inspire, or by laughing at himself. Without question, Mick leaves a legacy of understanding and encouraging others to live one day at a time. We would like to ensure that Mick’s blessed imprint on this earth doesn’t weather. By supporting the work of Trinity Sober Living in his name, you can impact both those struggling with addiction and those finding success in their sobriety. Thank you for considering a gift. |
